SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR PRODUCT

1How does it work ?
Most Blind Spot Warning systems use radar sensors, but some use cameras. The sensors are usually located under the rear bumper or side view mirrors. The sensors monitor the areas behind and next to your car. The detection area covers approximately one lane width on both sides of your car. It extends from the side view mirrors to approximately 10 feet beyond the rear bumper. BSW detects cars entering your blind spots from the side, rear, and front.
2Will this feature activate for any size of vehicle?
Blind spot warnings best detect other vehicles traveling beside your car. However, not all features may be capable of detecting motorcycles, bicycles and other vehicles smaller than a regular-sized car. You should always be aware of your surroundings and the traffic around you as you drive. Always remember to do a head check to confirm there is not a car in your blind spot.
3Is blind-spot monitoring standard in new cars?
Some new cars like the Nissan Sentra and Kia Forte have standard blind-spot monitoring. For most new cars, it’s optional.
4What is the blind spot detection ?
Blind Spot Detection (BSW) helps you detect cars in hard-to-see areas, commonly known as “blind spots.” BSW may also be called Blind Spot Information Systems, or Blind Spot Detection. BSW systems monitor the blind spots on both sides of your car. When a car is detected, a yellow or red indicator will light up in the side mirror or on the window frame. Some systems also provide a warning sound. BSW helps you to avoid crashes that occur in blind spot areas. They are most effective when your car is passing, being passed, or preparing to make a lane change.
5After warning me with an icon, will my blind spot warning give me any other warnings?
Some blind spot warnings come with alerts that will provide you with additional warnings if you initiate your turn signal and there is already a car in the lane next to you. Check your owner’s manual or with your dealership to find out if your blind spot warning has this capability.
6What you need to do ?
Use the blind spot warning to help you be more aware of other traffic as you travel down highways. You can also use the warnings provided by the blind spot warning when you want to make a lane change – but you should still always look over your shoulders before doing so.
