Introduction to 24Ghz BSD

In order to avoid the hazards caused by blind spots, a millimeter wave radar probe installed in the rear bumper of the car detects vehicles within the blind spot.

As long as a vehicle enters the blind spot, an audible and visual alarm will alert the driver to the danger of changing lanes at this time.

The BSD blind spot monitoring lane change assistance system can provide early warning for dangerous targets in adjacent lanes on the left and right sides.

The system includes BSD monitoring and warning, LCA parallel safety warning, DOW exit door opening safety warning, and its unique ability to penetrate smoke, fog, and dust can be applied 24/7.

The BSD blind spot monitoring lane change assistance system using a 24GHz millimeter radar can detect targets up to 20M away.

Functional feature Ⅰ : BSD blind area monitoring


1、 Warning area: 10 meters behind the left and right sides of vehicles in the adjacent lane

2、 Trigger condition: the vehicle speed is greater than 10km/h

3、 Early warning strategy: when the target enters the blind zone, the warning light warning (level 1 warning: yellow light) is in the level 1 warning state, the vehicle turns on the turn signal, and the buzzer alarms at the same time. (Level II warning: red light flashing and beep alarm)

Function Characteristic Ⅱ :LCA Lane Change Auxiliary vehicle approaching warning


1、The vehicle is low speed, the target vehicle is high speed, and the relative speed of the two vehicles is relatively high

2、When the relative collision time between the target vehicle and vehicle is 5 seconds, start the LCA function

3、Filter out target with relative speed less than 1m/s.

4、The maximum distance warning is 50 meters.

Function Characteristics Ⅳ: RCTA Reverse Crossing Warning


1、Start in Reverse Gear, detect whether there is a target object approaching when reversing

2、If there is more than 1m/s speed target approaching horizontally, the buzzer and warning light will alarm at the same time

3、Design Instructions: 7 meters on the left and right sides, with a relative collision time of 5 seconds.
